裏千家メルボルン20周年記念行事のご案内

今年で発足20周年を迎えた茶道裏千家淡交会メルボルン協会では、

京都から家元を迎え、NGV International ( The National Gallery of Victoria )で講演会と

茶会を催します。

講演会では茶道紹介DVDのあと、千宗室家元が茶の心を語ります。

茶会では「つなぐ」のテーマのもと、グレートホールに4つの茶席を設け、

お客様には2つの席でそれぞれ和菓子と薄茶をお召し上がりいただきます。 

和敬清寂の茶の心を感じ、メルボルン協会の20周年をご一緒に祝って

いただければ幸いです。

Chado Urasenke Tankokai Melbourne Association 20th anniversary

Chado Urasenke Tankokai Melbourne Association will host a Lecture and Tea Gathering to celebrate its 20th anniversary at NGV International (The National Gallery of Victoria).

Soshitsu Sen XVI, Grand Master of the Urasenke Chado Tradition will travel from Japan to help us celebrate this special anniversary.
At the lecture, Grand Master will talk about “the spirit of Tea”, after viewing a video presentation introducing Chado (the Way of Tea).
At the tea gathering, four different settings reflecting on the theme “tsunagu“ (loosely translated as “ to connect”) will be presented.

Guests are invited to enjoy two settings. A different type of traditional sweet and tea will be served at each setting.
Experience 500 years of Chado, the Way of Tea.
