Our client is a large multinational Trading Company, which in addition to providing traditional trading services is active in broad sectors including; automotive, steel, chemicals, transport, energy and resources. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work with successful and ambitious individuals to maintain existing business with established clients and assist in developing the Machinery and Automotive division further.

As a member of the Automotive and Machinery division, your main responsibility will be to maintain the existing business, prepare tender submissions and manage foreign currency contracts and service agreements.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of customer service along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Japanese. A wide appreciation of business functions and a proven ability to liaise with suppliers, customers and technical personnel in a down to earth and genuine manner essential. This role provides you with an excellent opportunity to really cement a professional relationship with your clients, by providing trustworthy and appropriate advice that will help to ensure repeat business in an effort to meet long term objectives and company goals.

A strong background within the Automotive, Manufacturing or the Engineering sector is essential as is a solid experience within Sales and international trade, sales negotiating, researching market interests and trends and business development will be highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in Business (international Trade) or Sales and Marketing would be advantageous as would be the ability to utilise your business level Japanese verbal and written skills.

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
