聖人お兄さん☆（St.Kilda The Saints）、Ladder（順位表）では、劇団Catsと共に上位ランクイン。過去数十年、ここ一番という試合で惜しくも優勝を逃がし続けてきた聖兄。このままグランドファイナルまで勝ち残れば今季は…ゆ、優勝？
逆に昨年のチャンピオンHawthornが哀愁の不調です。大丈夫やろか…（涙）。
今回は主なルールについてお話しましょか。試合はアンパイアがセンターサークル内で高く上げたボールを、両チームのラックマンと呼ばれるプレーヤーが競り合って開始。これをセンターバウンスと言います。ラックマンは、背が高くジャンプ力を誇るガチムキ兄貴（※体格がガッチリ、ムキムキな兄貴）が担当します。ガチムキ好きにとっては、たまらない瞬間です。 基本のボール運びは、キックかハンドパス。手で持って15m以上走ってはいけないんです（反則：Run too far）。ただし、ボールを地面にバウンスさせれば再び15ｍ走ってOK（※あのレモン型ボールは地面にバウンスしたら、どこ飛んでくかわからんので熟練の技が必要なり）。
意外なことに、ボールは投げたら駄目（反則：Throw）、投げずにバレーのサーブのように拳でポーンとハンドパスします。これが痛い（笑）。そして、重要なのがマーク君！ 選手がボーンと蹴ったボールをノーバウンドでキャッチすると歓声が起こりますよね。マークといい、その時点でフリーキックがもらえるんです☆

… the secret war has begun.
In my family, all the boys go for Carlton, all the girls go for Richmond. Growing up as a Carlton fan has been good to me. In the last 30 years, Carlton has made 7 grand finals and won the flag 5 times, it was a wonderful childhood.
For Richmond fans, the last 30 years hasn't been quite as exciting. Richmond won the grand final in 1980 and lost the grand final in 1982. That is all.
My sister has a 3 year old son, Nicholas, and so of course, I assumed he would be a Carlton supporter. My sister had been teaching him to say things like "Go Tigers", which was cute (and a little sad), but it had to be a joke.
Imagine my horror when my sister told me that her son was actually going to be a Tiger fan.
I tried to reason with her. I highlighted all of Carlton's success and Richmond's failures, I analyzed the current team lists, I even said "Judd" really fast for 10 seconds which is usually good enough to win most arguments, but she just wouldn't listen.
I don't like to tell my sister what to do, especially not how to raise her own children, but this is too much, the secret war has begun.
Now with Nicholas, whenever we are alone, we sing the Carlton theme song. He doesn't know the words yet, but he dances to it, so that's a good sign. The mini Carlton football has already been bought, and a Carlton jumper is coming soon.
